Risks & Precautions
While generally safe, some temporary side effects may occur:
- Redness, swelling, discomfort, bruising, dryness, or flaking
- Rarely, bleeding, infection, or pigment changes
- Avoid if you have active skin infections, acne, keloid scars, or unstable skin
- Disclose any medications, especially blood thinners, to your provider
Important: Avoid retinol products 9 days before and after, no fillers or Botox 10 days before or after, and follow post-care instructions closely.;
Recommended Treatment Plan
- 4–7 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, followed by quarterly maintenance
- Number of treatments depends on age and lifestyle
